Data Analyst Apprenticeship Level 4
The purpose of the programme is to learn how data can be used to identify opportunities, answer questions and solve problems. Data analysis is a process of requirement-gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful insights, supporting decision-making and informing conclusions.
Data analysis has multiple facets and approaches, encompassing diverse techniques under a variety of names. Data analysis plays a crucial role in making decisions more evidence-based and helping organisations operate more effectively.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for working within the data architecture of the company and ensuring that the data is handled in a compliant, safe and appropriately secure manner, understanding and adhering to company data policy and legislation.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is designed for new and existing employees who wish to progress and develop their skills in a growing industry. These are transferable skills and have application in most facets of modern industry including Sales, Finance, Engineering, HR or IT to name a few.
Location and duration
This training programme follows a blended approach which includes webinars, digital delivery, face to face and site visits. This programme can take up to 24 months to compete.

On successful completion of this programme individuals will receive the following;
Data Analyst Apprenticeship at Level 4
Level 2 Functional Skills, English (If required)
Level 2 Functional Skills, Maths (If required)
Course Content
This Apprenticeship offers a balance of technical training and on the job activities to match needs and requirements of the apprentice’s employer. The knowledge and assessment units include;
Data structures
Data preparation — Extract, Transform, Load
Datamining, forecasting & Modelling
Dashboards and Infographics
Policy & Legislation including GDPR
Analysis—statistics trends and patterns
Reporting and interactivity
Continuing professional development
A wide range of analytic tools and are used including Microsoft Power Platform, Python, and Azure. Access to all required software is provided.
