15 more apprentices complete BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship
Fifteen apprentices completed their Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Controls Engineer Apprenticeship Level 4 in February and March.
This apprenticeship addresses an industry wide shortage of BEMS Controls Engineers who will use the skills they learn today to keep the buildings of tomorrow running efficiently.
The latest apprentices to pass their L4 BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship are:

Donatas Maciulis – Eon Control Solutions (Distinction)
Jamie Allain – Carbon Numbers (Distinction)
George Nott – Direct Control Systems Ltd (Distinction)
Taylor Dunk – Learnd UK Ltd (Distinction)
Taylor Watts – Boss Controls Ltd (Pass)
Joshua Woodhead – BG Energy Solutions (Pass)
Ryan McGoldrick – Kendra Energy Solutions (Pass)
Jacob Pettitt – P A Collacott & Co (Pass)
On passing his end point assessment (facilitated by Verge 365) with a Distinction Russell McGuiness commented: “There was a lot to learn at first, but the structure of the apprenticeship helped me build my knowledge step by step. Throughout the apprenticeship I worked with several training officers, each bringing different strengths and perspectives. I would recommend it to anyone starting out in the industry or looking to strengthen their technical knowledge and understanding.”

The BEMS Controls Engineer Apprenticeship Level 4 has been designed to develop building controls engineers to meet the global commitment to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency through effective control of building plant.
