Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care

This course explores two key principles that everyone who works within health and social care should strive to uphold.

Treating an individual whom you support with dignity and respect, encouraging others to do the same, and taking the appropriate steps if the words or actions of others concern you, helps to safeguard that individual from possible abuse. This programme aims to provide you with a thorough understanding of the importance of dignity and safeguarding, and is valuable to those working in, or looking to work in, the health and social care sector.

Eligibility

This training programme is fully funded for those aged 19 and over (Eligibility is generally unemployed and in receipt of benefits).

Course Delivery & Duration

This is a distance learning programme which requires you to have access to a computer and internet. Once enrolled you will be given access to our digital platform with online learning
materials and online assessments. This course can take up to 6 weeks to complete.
