Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges

This course gives learners an insight into behaviour that challenges and how to respond to these situations in the most appropriate and supportive way. Learners will examine what
behaviour that challenges means, why it may occur and how to promote positive behaviour. This qualification would be particularly useful to those who work in an educational setting or within health, social care or anyone who wishes to learn more about how to respond to incidences of behaviour that they may find challenging.

Eligibility

This training programme is fully funded for those aged 19 and over (Eligibility is generally unemployed and in receipt of benefits).

Course Delivery & Duration

This is a distance learning programme which requires you to have access to a computer and internet. Once enrolled you will be given access to our digital platform with online learning materials and online assessments. This course can take up to 6 weeks to complete.

  • Understanding behaviour that challenges

  • Understand how to support positive behaviour

  • Understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges

  • Understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges
